Ever since I took my first psychology class in 10th grade, I have been fascinated with the field. I love to study, learn and think about the ways in which faith and psychology intersect.
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, Sociology and Christian Ministries. I also have a Master’s of Social Work in Clinical Practice from Southern Connecticut State University. I was licensed in the State of Connecticut in 1999.
Over the course of my career, I have worked with groups, families and individuals of all ages in community mental health and private practice settings. I have also enjoyed conducting parenting seminars and workshops and leading parenting small groups.
My heart often finds its expression in the written word and you can find some of my musings on the topic of parenting, faith and mental health over at Cornerstones for Parents. I am also the author of More Than a Conqueror: A Christian Kid’s Guide to Winning the War on Worry, a faith-based workbook for 8-12 year olds struggling with anxiety.
If you have any questions about me or my experience or would just like to connect, please contact me. I would love to hear from you.
